The decision making process

How your project is assessed and when the funding decisions are made

As long as we have all the information we need, all eligible applications are reviewed by a Biodiversity Advisory Panel in your region who have the regional knowledge and expertise to assess and consider your application for funding.

A Board of Adjudicators comprising of WREN directors with environmental and conservation backgrounds together with experts from the Countryside Council for Wales, Natural England and Scottish Natural Heritage will then consider the panel assessments and make recommendations to the WREN Board of Directors.
