Notifying you of WREN's Decision
WREN will send you a post-board notification letter if your application is successful. This will be in writing, within two weeks of the Board meeting taking place. You will be notified of the amount of funding we will award, together with any outstanding information you need to provide.
It should be noted that at this stage this notification IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY. Before WREN can provide you with our Funding Agreement, your project must be successfully registered with the Landfill Communities Fund scheme's regulator, ENTRUST and you must have provided all information requested in our letter.
Successful projects will also receive our Funding Success Guidance explaining what happens next and how to progress the project.
Any project which fails to have a Funding Agreement issued within 6 months of our board notification letter or complete and claim the funding within 12 months of that letter will have its offer of support reviewed and funding may be withdrawn.
Declined or Deferred Applications
If your project is declined, the Head of Community Programmes will notify you and your project goes no further in the process.
If your project is deferred you will be contacted to provide additional information or required to satisfy the deferral reasons stated in order for your project to progress further. On receipt of any relevant information, your project would be re-assessed by the Regional Panel (if appropriate) and then the WREN Board.
It should be noted that the decision of the WREN Board and the level of grant allocated is FINAL.
