Increase in VAT with effect from 4 January 2011
VAT will increase to 20% from 4 January 2011 and it is important that you consider how this increase may impact on your project costs.
Once a funding commitment is made by WREN we are unable to increase the amount offered. If your project costs include unrecoverable VAT please consider the timing of your project delivery and whether or not you will be charged VAT at the increased rate of 20%. Applications received now will not be considered until early 2011 and if your project incurs VAT which cannot be reclaimed it is important you consider how this will be funded.
Please note, WREN will not fund VAT which can be reclaimed. If you are unsure about your project's VAT status please contact your local HM Customs & Revenue.
