WREN grant assistance was sought by the Rochsoles Community Resource Project to assist with the installation of a multi-use games area (MUGA). Thanks to a grant totalling £50,000 from the Landfill Communities Funds of Waste Recycling Environmental (WRG) administered by the environmental body WREN, this vital community asset is set for an important addition. The facility was officially opened on Thursday 5th August 2010 and Councillor Jim McGuigan said,' we are delighted for the support from Wren, which has in a large part made this possible'.

William Beattie of WREN said, "This wider project already benefits community cohesion, and the installation of this MUGA will further enhance sports provision for the younger community in a deprived area."
