Wolverton Scout Hall
Wolverton Scout Hall
In the past Wolverton scout hall flooded on a number of occasions which resulted in a permanent damp problem, made worse by the fact that there was no guttering or rainwater collection system for the main building. The building is home to both Scout and Guide Groups and is also well used by community groups in the area.
A grant of £11,900 from WREN provided a new guttering and rainwater disposal system, asphalt flooring, new carpets and decoration. A celebration event was held at the hall to mark the completion of the renovation project in October 2006 and the hall was officially re-opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Crewe and Nantwich.
