Cumbria
Applications are welcomed from projects located within communities in the vicinity of the Bennett Bank and Lillyhall Landfill Sites in Cumbria.
All applications will be assessed by WREN’s advisory panel and deadlines for submission of application forms in 2008 are 8th January, 4th April, 18th July and 26th September.
Please note any applications for projects under category E for the restoration and repair of Christian churches should be directed to Alison Pollard, Grant Manager at the National Churches Trust (NCT).

Located in the centre of Whitehaven, St Nicholas Tower is a very well known landmark and valuable community resource. The Church was destroyed by fire in 1971 leaving only the tower remaining.
