Frodsham Parish Hall
Frodsham Parish Hall
Located in the centre of the historic Town, Frodsham Parish Hall was completely refurbished in 2006 at a cost of over £280,000. In 2004, the building was showing its age, dating back to the mid 19th Century the hall offered limited access and was in need of major works to ensure its future as a community facility.
WREN were one of the first funding bodies to see the importance of the building and committed funding of £50,000 in 2004. Fundraising and grant applications during 2005 secured an additional £230,000 (over £140,000 coming from HLF) and allowed works to commence early in 2006.
The hall has maintained is historic exterior whilst becoming a modern fully accessible building with good heating and catering facilities, large a small halls and a meeting room. The hall was reopened to the community by the Mayor of Frodsham in September 2006 and is being exceptionally well used by a wide variety of community groups.
