Sheerness Hope Street United Reformed Church

The grade II listed building originally dates from 1832 and was extended in 1882, but drastically in need of structural works to ensure that it could remain in public use. A meeting was held in 2002 which supported the restoration of the building to meet the needs of the users, and to adapt to meet the wider needs of the community in Sheerness.

Chalk Parish Hall

The Parish hall at Chalk was a collection of rooms, which were added on since originally being built in the 19th century. There were a number of issues, mainly in that each extension was on a different level to the previous, and the efficiency of the building was making their maintenance cost high. That, combined with the need for larger rooms and multi-use facilities, gave them the opportunity to look at a total rebuild.
