Vigo - Trosley Country Park Amenity Building
Vigo - Trosley Country Park Amenity Building in Meopham, Kent has just been awarded the Public Building Category of the Kent Design Awards. WREN helped fund the 'green’ sedum roof in 2004.
This is a very popular site for visitors and walkers. Located on the edge of the north downs, the country park offers spectacular views across the Kent countryside. As a result of comments and requests by the large number of visitors to the site, the building has been designed to encourage and promote sustainable building practices and will take advantage of up to date technologies to reduce heat, lighting and water.
