Frampton Marsh Nature Reserve

Frampton Marsh Nature Reserve

The RSPB is expanding its reserve at Frampton Marsh and creating a major visitor reserve adjacent to The Wash, the UK's most important estuary for wildlife.

The project aims to establish freshwater habitats that attract wildlife at all states of tide and throughout the year, enabling people and wildlife to be bought together at Frampton Marsh. The enhanced experience and access improvements will attract both local people and regional populations for whom Frampton will offer a glorious coastal wildlife experience. The range of viewable habitats as well as the conservation importance of some of the habitats will provide an all year round visitor experience.

With help from WREN RSPB will be building viewing hides around the site that will display information on the wildlife and habitats as part of a wider educational programme that will develop with the site.
