Braybrooke Village Hall
Braybrooke Village Hall
Braybrooke Village Hall was built in 1835 as a national School and since becoming the village hall in the 1950's it has served the community well.
The VH Committee had been looking at how to bring the Hall up to modern standards, in particularly to meet the need of disabled users and how to improve facilities like toilets & kitchen. Their first priority was to ensure the weather proofing of the building and with the help of a £25,000 grant from WREN roof repairs and new guttering have been installed and the brickwork has been sand blasted and repointed. The Committee is tackling any remaining damp problems and with the help of other grants has been able to install new toilets and kitchen.
The Hall is now looking most inviting and activities are increasing and Braybrooke can be proud of all their efforts to bring the old Hall up to date.
