Church Warsop - The Triangle
This project was initiated by the Church Warsop Joint Action Group (JAG); a group of local people who’s main aim was to try and improve the environment and facilities for the Church Warsop Community. The £160K project involved completely transforming an area that was tired, underused, unsafe and riddled with misuse. The £50K contribution from WREN helped the group to create a path network around the whole site and make the area safe and secure by installing a new perimeter fence and motorcycle barriers. Planting was also incorporated into the designs. The group also replaced the old play equipment with new and finished off the project by installing litter bins and picnic benches. The site is now extremely well used and has become a focal point within the village.
