Cold Ash Play Areas, Berkshire
Youngsters in two separate areas of the village of Cold Ash have benefited from grants from WREN. In the centre of the village, £10,000 helped to refurbish the existing play area with the installation of new safety surfacing. In the Southend area, brand new facilities have been installed for a variety of age groups, including a hard surface play area for ball games. WREN awarded over £30,000 towards this ambitious scheme which successfully received funding from a large number of grant-making organisations.
