Blofield - Margaret Harker Hall Kitchen and Access
The hall and grounds were donated in the 1920's by Margaret Harker for use by the villagers of Blofield. The kitchen facilities still had the original cupboards with some more modern worktops and sinks which had been installed over the years.
With the general increase of usage by all age groups, the kitchen was in great need of a modern kitchen, with easy-to-clean work-tops and washing-up facilities, ie a dishwasher.
A full kitchen refurbishment project has been completed which has provided them with essential storage cupboards.
Although the hall had a short ramp, it was not providing safe access to and from the hall/car park. A new ramped access has been built, giving all users a level access into the hall.
