Brierley Hill Chapel Street Community Project

Back in 2005 the Church organisations in Brierley Hill got together to review their current facilities and assess how together they might address some of the serious deprivation issues of the area. Out of this the Brierley Hill Project was born.

It was decided to regenerate the old Hall at the Baptist Church as a community facility to focus on young people to offer training in employment and life skills, health and drug education, etc so they are able to overcome personal difficulties, and contribute to their community and fulfill their potential.

A vibrant Centre has now opened with the aid of grants from WREN and others and looks set to offer many possibilities for the surrounding community.
