Chapel Haddlesey - Church Community Hall

Three years of hard work and dedication from the Haddlesey Church Community Hall Committee were fulfilled when their brand new hall was opened in June 2006.

A £50,000 winner of the WRG Village Hall and Community Centre Challenge, the project aimed to replace the old Second World War Nissen Hut to create an innovative Church Community Hall.

Anne Chambers, Chairman of the Hall Fundraising Committee expressed her delight for the project: “It’s been a long frustrating three years for us, and many a time we thought we’d throw the towel in, but this makes it all worth it.”

In addition The WREN North and West Yorkshire Advisory Panel awarded the hall a further £50,000 enabling the project to reach its full potential.
