Cherry Burton Village Green New Play Area

WREN Awarded £16,376: towards the development of a new children’s play area in the village of Cherry Burton, East Riding of Yorkshire.

The WREN grant has helped to develop a new play area facility at the centre of the village green that includes a new set of play apparatus that have addressed the requirements of children up to the age of 8. The new play area will be a means to foster integration and collaboration between the young children and their parents/carers/grandparents. It will also act as a social focal point for young families and the community. This project is now complete and in use.
