Orton Longueville Church - Meeting Room

Their project was to build a small extension on the north side of Holy Trinity Church to provide a meeting room and toilet.  Together with two other linked but independent projects for the re-ordering the rear of the church and installing a kitchenette, and for the conversion of a chapel to a meeting room, the three projects make up the wider "Trinity Project".

The church is an underused 13th century building in an area where there is no village hall and only one community centre serving some of the needs of the area to the south.

Work is now complete on the extension, giving the church an alternative venue for small groups to meet, and to accommodate meetings.

WREN were pleased to be able to provide their maximum County Grant of £50,000 to the delivery of the extension project, which has been completed to a high standard.  Bookings are now being made for the meeting room by the local community.
